All 34 registration centers at the Ghana Revenue Authority, the Registrar General’s Department, and the NIA Head Office will be suspended by the National Identification Authority (NIA).
According to a press release from the CS Unit of NIA, from Monday, October 25 through Tuesday, November 2, 2021, the suspension will be in effect.
“all thirty-four (34) registration centres located at the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), the Registrar General’s Department (RGD) and the NIA Head Office will be suspended from Monday 25th October to Tuesday 2nd November 2021.”
However, registration services is available at the NIA Head Office from Saturday, 23rd October 2021 only, from 9:00 am to
NIA is preparing to staff its permanent offices across the country. On Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021, sixteen (16) Regional Offices, two hundred and seventy-five (275) NIA functioning District Offices, and the Premium Registration Centre at the NIA Head Office will all be open across the country.
