Abeiku Jackson represents Ghana in Tokyo 2020 Olympics

Ghanaian swimmer, Abeiku Jackson represents Ghana today Olympics 2020.

The Ghanaian swimmer took part in the 100m butterfly Olympic event at 10:45 am today.

Abeiku Jackson finished 1st in the men’s 100m Butterfly Heat 2 with a time of 53.39s a new national record for the 100m butterfly.

However, Jackson missed out on the semi-finals of the swimming men’s 100m Butterfly semi-finals by 2 seconds.

Abeiku Jackson failed to qualify to the semi-finals by 2 seconds.

After the event turnouts, Data Journalist, Owuraku Ampofo praised Jackson’s efforts and wished for the best.

“I trained with Abeiku Jackson 10 years ago. I interviewed him last year. One thing that will never change about him is the confidence he has.

Proud of how far he’s come, he missed out but he will be back soon.” Owuraku Ampofo said.
